Ganga’s boyfriend tricks her into thinking she will get a job in the movies, but she doesn’t. When she gets to Mumbai, her hopes of becoming an actor fall apart, and she gets sucked into a world of deep politics and prostitutes.
Thai Massage
Thai Massage is an interesting movie with Gajraj Rao and Divyendu in the lead roles. It’s about a 70-year-old widower who wants to find Moksha by fulfilling a wish he has been unable to make since his wife died. This takes him to Thailand, and he has many adventures that change his life. The movie is a must-see because it tries to bust myths regarding the sexual lives of older people.
An Action Hero
Ayushmann Khurana shows once again how versatile he is with this action drama. The story is about an old action hero suspected of murder and finds themselves in a real-life action scene. The audience was blown away by the new and different plot of the movie and by how well all of the stars played their parts.
Peepli Live
The movie Peepli Live, which stars Omkar Das Manikpuri and Raghuvir Yadav, is a satire about farmer deaths. The story of the movie starts when Natha plans to kill herself so that the government will give her money. However, things start to go wrong when his plan to kill himself becomes a news story overnight. The news media start to bother and spy on him around the clock to catch the once-in-a-lifetime event.
Toolsidas Junior
After his beloved father doesn’t win the 1994 Club Snooker Championship, the man’s son decides to help his father by taking things into his own hands. Toolsidas Junior is a sports movie about coming of age based on real events. The main parts are played by Varun Buddhadev, Rajiv Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt.
Cirkus
The main parts in Cirkus are played by Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, and Jacqueline Fernandes. The movie will come out near the end of 2022. It’s a comedy-drama that’s based on Gulzar’s 1983 film Angoor. It’s a silly film with many funny parts, making it a full-fledged show. Even though the reviews were mixed, the movie is still worth seeing.
Mister Mummy
Another movie with an odd story is Mister Mummy. The movie, which stars the cute couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genilia D’souza, is about something completely new and has a funny plot. It didn’t do well in the theatres, but like any other movie, this one is good to see, particularly for the performances by Riteish and Genelia.
Mission Majnu
We all saw Siddharth Malhotra play the brave soldier Vikram Batra in the movie Sher Shah. Mission Majnu will give us another chance to view him in a major part. In the 1970s, a secret Indian operation took place in Bangladesh. This is what the movie is about. With Rashmika Madanna, Siddarth Malhotra does a great job as a secret spy while keeping his charm. This makes it among the best Hindi films available on Netflix in 2023.
Mimi
In Mimi, a comedy-drama version of the hit Marathi movie Mala Aai Vhaychy, a substitute mother finds herself in an unexpected situation that makes her sad. Mimi is, without question, Kriti Sanon’s best work. It is an emotional movie on the inside and out, with an unusual plot, all-star acts, and relaxing tunes by A. R. Rahman.
Monica O My Darling
Vasan Bala’s neo-noir crime comedy Monica, O My Darling stars Rajkummar Rao and Huma Qureshi as the main characters. Radhika Apte, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, and Zayn Marie Khan play minor parts. This 130-minute movie is about a young businessman who badly wants to achieve big with the support of some strange friends and a sneaky plan to commit the perfect murder.
Dil Chahta Hai
An epic story regarding three best friends from childhood who just got out of college and are trying out relationships and trying to figure out life. Dil Chahta Hai is a touching and funny movie about love, friendship, and much more. It was written and directed by Farhan Akhtar, who we got to know through this movie.
Dil Chahta Hai, which is loved by everyone and is still a part of the culture, taught us a lot of various topics on many levels. A great work of art that changed the way Indian movies were made for the better.
Rang De Basanti
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Rang De Basanti is one of Bollywood’s best movies for all the correct reasons. This movie is interesting, emotional, and soulful, from the story to the script, conversation, direction, acting, and music. If you want to watch a good Bollywood movie this weekend, you should put Rang De Basanti at the top of your list.
